In this presentation, Nelson will speak about the challenges of the exhibition and convention industry in recent years, such as digital disruption, global economic uncertainty, social unrest, clients opting for smaller and targeted events and will discuss steps companies take to overcome the difficulties and to create new opportunities.

Mandy will also share some interview tips for CEOs.

The adoption of an all-hazards approach to crisis preparedness and response is a best practice that ensures organisations put in place comprehensive measures to quickly and effectively respond and recover from a wide-range of likely crises or threats. An all-hazards approach also helps to build capacity and resilience by ensuring that responders are better able to quickly adapt their response to any new or emerging challenges. In this session, and drawing on his many years of critical incident and crisis management experience as both a front-line police commander and hostage negotiator, Pete will share how careful planning and preparation will help organisations to better respond and recover faster.
